SBEM / Part L Compliance
SBEM stands for Simplified Building Energy Model. It calculates predicted energy use and carbon emissions for non-domestic buildings using standard occupancy and operating assumptions.
NRG supports commercial SBEM assessments and Part L submissions. Send drawings, construction details and proposed building services early so we can confirm the scope and applicable regulations. A calculation alone does not guarantee Building Control approval.

SBEM is used for non-domestic buildings. Homes use a separate domestic methodology, commonly SAP for new dwellings. A commercial EPC asset rating and a Part L compliance calculation have different purposes; tell us which output your project requires.
Request an SBEM quote with the project location, drawings, floor area and whether you need design-stage calculations, as-built evidence or a commercial EPC.
